Managing Director
Arran has over 16 years of experience in the telecoms and technology sector, including a decade in senior management and director roles at a leading UK B2B Telecoms company. Now a multi-business owner, broadcaster, partner to Sophie, and father of three amazing children—Faith, Freddie, and Delilah—Arran is dedicated to supporting those who don’t believe in their own potential, helping them achieve their goals and inspire others. He focuses on learning from all experiences to provide balanced advice, finding ways to help others, protecting those with low self-esteem, instilling trust, and building long-lasting relationships through consistent support.
John Bennetts
Sales Director
JB is a father to 3 wonderful children with his beautiful wife Paige. As a frequent traveller, he can regularly be found experiencing different cultures with his family across the world. He is a multi-business owner who has worked in Telecoms & IT for over 20 years. Prior to Guru he built a career from an entry level position, into an associate director of sales, heading up all of sales departments before it was sold for an 8 figure sum.
He always believed he could take what he learnt and apply that to his own company, with their being 2 key areas. Firstly, by focusing on being customer centric in all decisions, and secondly adding value to the careers and lives of all staff, which is why JB & Arran started the business over 5 years ago and it has gone from strength to strength ever since. JB is a logical thinker, with a keen eye for creating business value and growth.
Peter Allen
Head of Billing & Finance
WIth over 30 year’s experience in many sectors including Contract Hire, Sales, Fleet Management and Telecoms, Peter has continuously improved his process driven mindset and strives to make efficiency savings in all areas. With this experience along with being an effective, logical and articulate thinker, with a keen eye for detail, Peter continually executes an in depth analytical and strategic approach to problem solving and has proven to be competent in facing any challenge in the ever-changing work environment. Peter is a big family man, married to Lucy for over 25 years and they have 3 amazing children, Joshua & Davina who are both in their twenties and Elizabeth who was a most unexpected surprise in 2014. Peter is extremely self-motivated and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driven to exceed performance targets.
Hazel Lyon
Head of Operations
Hazel has worked in the service industry for over 30 years, from being an estate agent, a publican to banking and then into the world of telecoms about 15 years ago. This is where she first met and worked with Arran and John. Having worked for several Telecoms providers and developing her understanding on all aspects of this industry she came back to work with Arran and John at Guru where she now sits on the board. Mum to Erin (19) and wife to Dan, Hazel applies the same commitment and dedication to Guru customers and staff as her family and strives to deliver only the best experience from coming on board to in life support and development.
